  Bench marking is a process, which can be described by the following four steps

      Use questionnaires to gather information necessary for benchmarking

      Conduct site visits, if additional information is needed.

 

      Conduct interviews, if more detail information is needed.

 

      Regulatory fee structure for approvals.

 

      Processes and Procedures required by the bodies for approvals.

 

      Consultants are available for guidance for ensuring the successful      

       implementation of the norms expected by these bodies.

 

      Technology transfer of formulation and smooth manufacturing thereof.

 

      Continuous improvement in the cost of manufacturing.
